In this video, I break down Roger Bayston's bombshell statements. He's the Head of Digital Assets at Franklin Templeton — a firm managing $1.6 trillion. He compared investing in blockchain to Warren Buffett buying Dairy Queen stock because he consumed the product. Franklin Templeton didn't buy XRP to speculate — they bought it because they needed to USE it in their own securities business. And after experimenting with distributed ledger technology, they realized these systems will be rails for every information-based business on the planet.
Bayston called blockchains "digital nation states" — saying the strongest ones don't die, they evolve. Franklin Templeton is now deployed on 10 or 11 blockchains and is building a tokenization factory. Their Benji platform already manages over $1 billion in tokenized money fund assets.
