Richard Heart's Arrest Is Bad News for Every Crypto Holder

Richard Heart, the HEX founder, has been arrested in Istanbul with six cold wallets. Turkey's justice minister says police also seized $7.15 million in cash, seven guns and 1,400 rounds of ammunition. I met him once, and here's my take.
Daily headlines and data, no promotions:

The HEX founder is wanted in Finland over alleged tax fraud and assault, but he hasn't been charged or convicted. What I expect next is the same playbook as always: every arrest and every hack becomes the reason for stricter KYC. Problem, reaction, solution. Meanwhile a hacker claims a "123456" password got him into Denmark's national ID register and the details of 8.8 million people. That's the system they want you to trust with your identity.

Then the bull market: why you dollar-cost average, why I don't care about missing the exact top (I took $110,000 last cycle), and why Bitcoin's 21 million cap matters while the national debt goes vertical. US wholesale prices just jumped 1.3% in one month, the biggest spike since March 2022, with producer inflation at 6.3% a year.

And finally the banks. Bank of America was fined $1.2 billion over money-laundering failures in a quarter it still made $6.9 billion. Deposit more than $10,000 in cash and you get reported. Too big to jail.
