Discover Women’s Health in the Metaverse Event with Clinique des Champs-Élysées

When the metaverse helps to inform about women’s health. The Clinique des Champs-Élysées, a leading provider of surgery and aesthetic medicine, holds a virtual open day in the Metaverse this Thursday, April 20th. The event focuses on women’s intimate health. Its aim is to break taboos about it. 

A metaverse event to educate

During this day, a team of gynecologists, sexologists, and surgeons will explain and showcase the solutions that exist to relieve, treat and restore women’s intimate parts. This metaverse event is coordinated by Professor Barbara Hersant, professor of plastic surgery at the Henri Mondor Hospital, APHP, MD, PhD, and teacher at the University Paris-Est Créteil (UPEC).

The event will address a range of issues related to women’s health. It includes pregnancy, perineal rehabilitation, G-spots, menopause, and the impact of chemotherapy treatments. “It is important to break down barriers around women’s intimate health issues”, explained Tracy Cohen Sayag, CEO of the Clinique des Champs-Élysées. “Organizing such an event is our contribution to help women to feel more confident to speak without feeling ashamed about their intimacy with their health care providers”.

As the Clinique des Champs-Elysées pointed out, 47% of women experience aesthetic or functional discomfort during their life.
